Meet Christine & Drew May We’re Christine and Drew May, a husband-and-wife real estate team serving the Greater Augusta area, including Columbia, Richmond, McDuffie, Burke, Lincoln, and Aiken Counties. Our paths into real estate started long before licenses and contracts. Christine is originally from Germany, and her very first experience in sales came at the tender age of five, selling watermelons on the street outside her grandparents’ restaurant in Greece. What started as childhood curiosity became a lifelong comfort with people, conversation, and helping others make decisions. Drew’s earliest memories of selling come from Vermont, where he helped his parents sell antiques out of the family’s Milk House. From listening to stories to understanding value, those early experiences shaped his steady, thoughtful approach to business. Christine began her formal real estate career in 1995 with a small local brokerage in Augusta. Drew joined her a few years later, and real estate quickly became not just our profession, but the foundation of our family. We eventually became brokers so we could build a business centered on relationships, integrity, and long-term trust—leading to the creation of Leading Edge Real Estate. Over the years, we’ve helped thousands of clients buy, sell, build, and invest across the Greater Augusta area. We’ve worked through changing markets, major life transitions, and complex situations, which has taught us how to stay calm, clear, and honest—especially when decisions feel overwhelming. We are a family-run business, and today our daughters are part of that legacy. Because of that, reputation matters deeply to us. We don’t rush people or push decisions.
